He started working in film distribution four decades ago and was the only one who did not come from a “film family”. He created his own company, “Rosebud” and managed to give a commercial profile to artistic and quality films. After the rise and fall of cinema in Greece and having completed a multi-year collaboration with Odeon, he created a new company, “Rosebud.21”, together with his daughter, Ioanna Panagiotidou.
Iliana Zakopoulou has worked for several years in the festivals sector and has been Head of the department of Sales and Promotion
(Hellas Film) of the Greek Film Centre for the representation and promotion of Greek films to International Festivals and Audiovisual Markets. In particular and in the framework of Hellas Film, she acts as sales agent for the films which haven’t secured worldwide sales by pitching the films to film professionals (festival programmers, distributors, TV channels), undertaking the negotiations for the contracts, screening fees or travel to festivals.
Besides, her responsibilities include planning and preparing the Greek participation in major festivals and markets such as Berlinale, Cannes, Toronto, Venice IFF, Tokyo F.F, Locarno F.F, Karlovy Vary F.F, Cairo F.F, as well as programming and coordinating Film Events and Retrospectives in collaboration with International Festivals as well as Museums, Universities,
Associations, Embassies, International organizations and institutions.
Filio was born in Athens. She is a graduate of the School of Dance “Morianova – Trasta” (Professor of Classical and Contemporary Dance), of the University “Paris 8” (“History, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Contemporary Dancing”), of the “Isola Danza Academy” of the Venice Biennale and of the Acting School “Akis Davis” (Actress). She has also studied piano and music theory at the “National Conservatory of Athens”. She is a performer in dance and theatre performances since 1995 and has collaborated with choreographers and directors in Greece, Cyprus, France, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark and England. She has been a choreographer and director since 2002 teaching dance and theatre. In 2015 she moved to Milos and founded the Non Profit Association “International Dance & Theatre Center of Milos”. She was the artistic and executive director of the Municipality of Milos Festival (2019 & 2020) and the founder, artistic and executive director of “From The Sea” Festival in Milos. In 2023, she founded the Dance & Theatre program “Let’s go on stage!” for Kimolos community.
Katia Pantazi is working as a freelance production manager and festival agent since 2008 and has been involved in various projects with Greek and international production
companies. She is a film curator at Delhi International Film Festival since 2013 and a partner of Kimolos IFF and Athens International Food Film Festival. She was a jury
member at Barcelona Human Rights Film Festival and The
Human Rights Film Festival of Madrid.
“Unknown Land” is her first feature film as a production manager. It has participated in international film festivals and won several awards. Currently, she has completed the documentary feature “Invisible World”, the shootings of which took place in Tibet, Mongolia, Russia, Israel, Palestine, Greece, Italy, Vatican City and Nepal.
Sofiana – Anthippi Fotidi will host the 5th Kimolos International Film Festival.
Sofiana-Anthippi Fotidi born in Athens Greece , has studied philology in the University of
Athens & parallel drama , since very soon she found out that her passion was the stage.
She has also participated in many workshops on physical theatre, performance, and
contemporary dance. She has worked in the theatre industry for about 11 years.
